Guttate Psoriasis- Symptoms, Stages, Causes, Diagnosis, and Treatment

Guttate psoriasis is a form of psoriasis, that is characterised by teardrop shapes spot. It is the 2nd most common form of psoriasis to take place after plaque psoriasis. The generalised victim of such psoriasis are children and young adults. Around ten percentile of victims who have psoriasis are diagnosed with guttate psoriasis.

The name ‘gutta’ is derived from the Latin language, signifying a drop.  The name justifies the characteristics of psoriasis.  This psoriasis generally takes places on legs, torso, and arms.
