There cannot be a better welcome to the new year than to go watch this riot in a theatre near you. The writer of Delhi Belly, Akshat Verma takes the director seat for this one. Awaited!

Anurag Kashyap is back to pack a punch, this time with Anand L Rai funding him. Written by the protagonist Vineet Singh himself, the movie also stars Jimmy Shergill as the antagonist.

Parmaanu : The Story of Pokhran (23rd Feb)

From the director who helmed ‘Tere bin laden’, comes the story of Pokharan, Set in the 1980’s, Pokharan is the place where the nuclear bombs were tested by the Indian army. The project stars John Abraham and is also backed by him.

Touted to be the most awaited film of 2018, the Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt, Manisha Koirala as Nargis and Dia Mirza as Maanyata, Rajkumar Hirani directs, enough said.

2.0 (27th April 2018)
The sequel to the 2010 film Enthiran, 2.0 is the most expensive film India has ever produced with a budget of 450 crores. Starring the superstar of all time Rajnikanth alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. The film will release in 15 languages.

Raazi (11th May 2018)

The thriller is a period drama based on Harinder Sikkas novel ‘Calling Sehmat’, which is about a Kashmiri spy married to a Pakistani man during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Funded by Karan Johar, the project is helmed by Meghna Gulzar (Talvar fame).

Another sports film to look upto from Excel Entertainment. The movie is the official biopic of the hockey player Balbir Singh because of whom we won the first Olympic medal as a free nation. Stars- Akshay Kumar, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh and, Mouni Roy.
