  • Sit in an upright position on a flat surface, by keeping a pillow behind. Now outstretch your legs and sit in the same position for some time.
  • Now you need to turn your head to 45 degrees.
  • Keep your head tilted and recline your head to rest on the pillow. Stay in this position for at least 30 to 40 seconds.
  • Now turn your head towards your left at a 90-degree angle. However, while doing it make sure not to lift your neck.
  • Now turn your entire body towards your left.
  • Return to your original position and look forward while sitting straight.

You can repeat this exercise for at most three times in a go. There is no need to worry if you feel dizzy as it is a temporary effect.

2. Semont-Toupet Maneuver

It is almost similar to the Epley maneuver. Though a lot of people are unaware of this method, it is as effective as the former one and requires less flexibility.

  • Start by sitting on a flat surface in an upright position. Keep a pillow behind you and outstretch your legs.
  • Now lie down towards your right but look at your left side in an upward direction.
  • Next sit and turn towards your left. Look down and stay in this position for a few seconds.
  • Get back to your original position slowly while looking forward and sitting straight.

3. Brandt Daroff exercise

This is one of the most common exercises performed by most of the people suffering from vertigo. It is simple and hence does not require any supervision. However, make sure that you are at a safe place and are not expected to drive for a certain period of time.

  • Sit on a flat surface and dangle your legs in a way as you do while sitting on a chair.
  • Turn your head towards your left to the maximum extent, and then torso down towards your right. Make sure that your legs do not move at all, and stay in this position for at least 30 seconds.
  • Sit upright and turn your head back to the original position.
  • Now repeat the same exercise in the opposite direction.

Performing this exercise three times a day for two days in a week will help you to get over vertigo in the best possible time.

4. Tai-chi and Yoga

Tai-chi and Yoga are two ways that can help reduce stress quickly. It also helps in increasing flexibility. This physiological way of treating vertigo is really effective as it helps in training the mind to balance.

Trying simple and regular yoga poses are one of the best ways to reduce that dizzy feeling.

8. Honey and apple cider Vinegar
